Camillion and One Styles

JUNE STYLE BOOK:

90’s inspired wardrobe mixing bright flannel

My thoughts on this outfit included Kurt Cobain from the 1990’s! If you don’t know who he is (it’s okay because I didn’t in middle school haha) he was the leader of a grundgy band. Kurt also inspired Marc Jacob’s Fall line in the nineties era as well. I’ve been intrigued to put a twist on this interesting flannel plaid that I got from Hollister a while back. Do ya like the color clash of teal and baby blue? I think the beachy necklace brings out the teal and golden yellow of the shirt and the skinny jeans! Of course the black, slinky tank goes with everything so I paired that to go with my fringy Coconuts sandals. What event would you wear this to? I’m in love with how glammed up you can make rocker vibe looks.

The frilly Indian

I feel like I’ve done this outfit combo before lol with yet again, another Hco navy shirt. This time I wanted to bring out the tribal-ish elements with the dark studded belt and the frindged yarns. My favorite part is the socks worn with Report wedges! So unexpected but it seems to work. The neutral nude of the socks brings out the beige, metallic of this Nordstrom dress. I think the detail of the cuffed socks is adorable and screams dolled up! Don’t know if you can see the underlying black of the sock but you can wear this with lots of quirky looks since it is a basic color. This simple nude wedge goes with pretty much everything for summer as well! Tribal and Prints are definitely my two go-to trends this season.

Tommy Hilfiger would be proud.

I love getting creative with graphics, kinda makes me wish I took more design classes in college! The two title banners headline all the preppi-ness of this outfit. It’s hard to wear navy gingham bustiers with bottoms other than a white, pencil skirt! (Believe me I’ve tried lol). The yellow cardigan is Lily Pulitzer and the light blue capris are from Target which you can still find at stores everywhere! Keeping the Hco theme with another braided belt. I just had to kick it up a notch with these adorable nude, bow pumps! The bow levels the look back to a poster child for boarding schools, while the bustier makes it a little naughty šŸ˜‰

Tepeed flowers

Upon concocting my next style venture, I saw sparks with these two red articles of clothing. The reddish black top is Kensie Girl, which I bought a loooooong time ago at a Dillards closing sale! Kensie is like BCBG’s younger sister I feel like haha…but anyways I topped it over a Free People halter dress. The belt is from Hollister and is a sturdy one at that! The printed side wedges are my absolute favorite thing about this look because the squiggly blues bring out the blue flowers of the dress. And after staring at the top for a while it occurred to me that it looks like Peony flowers! Who else loves peonies than a freshly wedded Blair Waldorf? Pahaha..

Scuba sailing anyone?

Lately I’ve been creating my looks based solely around the shoes. HAH. Tis true because I’ve been trying to find an occasion to wear my new Simpy Vera by Kohls pumps! The vibrancy of the blue is no match to the unexpected lime green in the back heel! But I think the juxtaposed lines of the heel go great with the cutout feel of the basic sweater. That’s what I do-find two similar prints and put them together! Likey or no? And the flouncy schoolgirl skirt makes the overall outfit more girly, instead of harsh tom boy.
